About the role
The position is for a Med Surg RN to work at a facility in Slidell, Louisiana.
Responsibilities
- Provide care to patients in a Med Surg setting.
- Perform duties according to medical protocols and standards.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort.
Requirements
- Must live 65+ miles from the facility.
- No prior employment with Ochsner facilities in the last year.
- At least 2+ years of RN experience.
- Current RN license in state of practice.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
- Preferred but not required: Clinical specialty certification.
Qualifications
- Must meet eligibility requirements for travel nursing.
Skills
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of Med Surg procedures and protocols.

Pay
