Travel Nurse RN - Med Surg - $2,020 per week

Job Summary

Medical Surgical Floor (MS) position located in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. This role involves providing patient care on a medical surgical unit, with a focus on a variety of patient types and surgical cases. The position requires adaptability to floating across units within the facility and working scheduled daytime shifts.

Schedule

• Days shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Orientation dates scheduled for 8/24, 8/31, and 9/8
• Holiday work may be required on Memorial Day, Independence Day, or Labor Day unless the unit is closed

Required Qualifications

• 24 months of current medical surgical experience
• Iowa state license or compact/multistate license
• BLS (AHA) certification
• EPIC electronic medical record system experience
• Experience with drips including amiodarone, diltiazem, heparin, dobutamine, and milrinone

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience with chest tubes, JP drains, 3-way Foley, NG tubes
• A performance evaluation or reference from within the past 24 months is preferred

Additional Information

• Must have work history/resume indicating 24 months of medical surgical experience
• Skills checklist specific to the discipline required
• Candidate will be required to float across medical surgical units throughout the hospital
