- Number of Staff – 40 RNs (8 bedside RNs per shift)
- Type of staff:
- Day Shift – 8 RNs, 1 Charge RN, 1 Unit Secretary, 1 Manager, 1 CN
- Night Shift – 8 RNs
- Patient Ratios – 1:5
- Type of equipment – Bariatric fitted ADLs, Wound Vacs, Drains, Lifts
- EMR - Meditech

• List typical procedures performed on unit(s):
• - Maintenance of post op surgical procedure sites
• - Wound care i.e. packing, dressing changes, wound vac maintenance
• - Foley Catheter care - Continuous bladder irrigation
• - Ostomy appliance changed and maintenance
• - Nasogastric Tube insertion and suction
• - TPN
• - Blood Administration
• - Central Line Care and dressing changes
• - Bedside Shift Report
