Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical Surgical Floor at a healthcare organization in Elko, Nevada. This position involves providing comprehensive nursing care across adult, pediatric, and geriatric patient populations within an acute care setting. Schedule

• Days shift, 12-hour shifts
• Minimum of 36 hours per week

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care on a 23-bed unit with patient ratios of approximately 1:5
• Potential to float to other departments depending on patient census and department needs
• Operate equipment including Omnicell Medication Dispenser, Baxter pumps, Masimo monitors, and GE Telemetry Monitoring system

Requirements

• Valid nursing license
• ACLS and PALS certifications (must be obtained within 60 days for ACLS and 90 days for PALS after start date)
• Must reside greater than 60 miles from the facility to qualify as a travel candidate

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Medical Surgical, Telemetry, or related units
• Knowledge of common diagnoses such as COPD, CHF, pre/post Cath Lab, orthopedic surgery, acute respiratory failure (adult & pediatrics)

Pay

Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
