Travel Nurse RN - Med Surg - $1,975 per week
Job Summary
The organization is seeking a registered nurse (RN) specializing in medical-surgical (Med Surg) care for an adult inpatient unit in a healthcare facility located in Rumford, Maine. The role involves providing comprehensive nursing care on a day shift basis, with a typical weekly schedule of 36 hours. The position supports the delivery of high-quality patient care in a geriatric and adult patient population, inclusive of rehabilitation needs.
Schedule
Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shift hours, minimum of 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLs (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- NIHS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale) certification
- At least 2 years of relevant clinical experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with geriatric and adult patient populations
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems such as Epic
Additional Information
The unit has 20 beds with a patient ratio of 6:1. The team cares for patients with common diagnoses and treatments related to adult and geriatric care, including rehabilitation. The dress code is scrubs in navy color.

Pay Package
The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
