- Unit staffing: Techs available
- Equipment: Hoyer lifts, rolling computers, rolling vital-signs monitors
- Documentation system: Meditech
- Scheduling requirements: 4 weekend shifts per month
- Floating policy: Can float to Surgical or Acute Rehab
- Patient Experience requirements: Prefer some med/surg experience
Hospital Specifics
- Certifications: RN license; BSN preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide basic patient care
- Monitor and interpret vital signs and lab values within normal limits
- Administer medications, including controlled substances
- Manage NG/NJ tubes and chest tubes
- Monitor heparin drips
- Care for patients returning from heart procedures in the cath lab
Requirements
- Active RN license
- BLS certification
