Travel Nurse RN - Med Surg - $1,910 per week

About the role

Jackson Nurse Professionals is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a 13-week assignment in Birmingham, Alabama. The position requires 36 hours per week on a 12-hour, night shift.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality patient care in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and hospital policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Alabama.
• Current BLS certification.
• At least one year of recent, relevant clinical experience.
• Pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR).

Skills

• Proficiency in using medical terminology and abbreviations.
