Cross Country Nurses is seeking a Medical Surgical Nurse for a facility located in Anderson, Indiana. This role involves working in a 21-bed orthopedic and medical surgical unit, with additional responsibilities including floating to a med/telemetry/PCU unit. The position offers a rotation that includes every other weekend and holiday shifts, with a focus on providing high-quality patient care across a diverse patient population.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care on a 21-bed orthopedic and medical surgical unit
• Float to med/telemetry/PCU unit as required
• Work every other weekend and holiday shifts on a rotating basis
• Care for patients with conditions including total joint replacement, general surgery, urology surgery, chest pain observation, pancreatitis, osteomyelitis, cellulitis, and other conditions
• Adapt to different clinical environments as required

Requirements

• Valid Nursing license
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing or equivalent degree
• 1 year of clinical experience in a hospital setting
• Ability to work night shifts

Qualifications

• Experience in orthopedic or med/surg nursing
• Float experience to other units

Schedule

• Night shifts, 12 hours per shift
• Minimum of 36 hours per week
• Assignment duration: 13 weeks
• Start date: 08/24/2026
