About the Role

Cross Country Nurses is seeking a Medical Surgical (MS) registered nurse for a shift in a medical-surgical floor located in Hot Springs National Park, Arkansas. This position involves providing direct patient care within a 40-bed unit serving adult patients with various diagnoses and treatment needs. The role requires active engagement in patient management and collaboration with healthcare team members to ensure quality care delivery.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 40-bed medical-surgical unit
• Manage patients with various diagnoses and treatment protocols
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure quality care delivery
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:6
• Utilize Meditech electronic health record system
• Participate in orientation scheduled periodically from January through December 2026

Qualifications

• Valid registered nurse license
• ACLS certification
• BLS certification
• 2+ years of clinical experience
• Professional attitude suited for a fast-paced environment
• Ability to adapt to various diagnoses and treatment protocols

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a Medical Surgical (MS) setting
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong clinical assessment capabilities

Schedule

• Start Date: 08/24/2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: Days, 12-hour shifts
• Weekly guaranteed hours: 36
