American Medical Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a 13-week assignment in Wichita, Kansas. The position starts on July 20, 2026, and is scheduled 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts.
Responsibilities
- Delivering specialized care to patients across acute and subacute units.
- Working closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive and compassionate care.
- Monitoring patient conditions, administering treatments, and documenting outcomes.
Requirements
- 2 years of experience as an RN.
- Valid RN license.
- Willingness to obtain Kansas licensure.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
Skills
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR).

Pay
The pay range for this position is $1,387.76 - $1,457.15 weekly.
Schedule
The schedule is 12-hour days, 07:00:00 - 19:00:00 (Full-time).
Pay Package
The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
