About the role
Mother/Baby nurse, also known as a Postpartum RN, cares for both mother and child after birth.
Responsibilities
- Carefully monitors both mother and child for post-birth complications.
- Provides care to both mother and child.
- Helps counsel new parents on the first steps of infant care before discharge.
Requirements
- Current RN license.
- Experience in Maternal - Newborn specialty preferred.
Qualifications
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts.
- Willingness to travel to various locations within Michigan.
Skills
- Strong communication skills.
- Knowledge of postpartum care.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Benefits
- Pay package based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation).
