Travel Nurse RN - Maternal - Newborn - $2,385 per week
About the Role
MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for a Maternal - Newborn position in Burlington, Vermont. This is a 13-week assignment starting on 11/16/2026, with 36 hours per week on 12-hour shifts.
Responsibilities
- Educate and assist new mothers with physical and emotional needs during the postpartum period.
- Care for both mothers and newborns after delivery, ensuring proper recovery.
- Monitor mothers for postpartum depression and provide emotional support.
- Teach new parents how to care for, bathe, breastfeed, and/or bottle-feed their newborns.
- Monitor the health of newborns and provide guidance to parents.
Requirements
- Active RN License.
- Degree from an accredited nursing program.
- BLS, ACLS, and NRP Certification.
- Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Mother/Baby setting.
- Additional requirements to be determined by the client facility.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have experience in postpartum and mother-baby care, with a strong ability to educate and support new mothers and their families.
