About the role
MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Maternal - Newborn for a travel nursing job in Missoula, Montana.
Responsibilities
- Educates and assists new mothers with physical and emotional needs during the post partum period.
- Cares for both moms and their newborns after delivery.
- Makes sure proper recovery is ensured by monitoring mothers.
- Recognizes and teaches new moms how to address postpartum depression.
- Teaches new parents how to care for, bathe, breastfeed, or bottle-feed the newborn and monitor their health.
Requirements
- Active RN License
- Degree from accredited nursing program
- BLS, ACLS & NRP Certification
- Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Mother/Baby setting

Pay
Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
Schedule
