Travel Nurse RN - Long Term Care (LTC) Long Term Care - $2,040 per week

This role involves providing nursing care in a 26-bed long-term care facility, focusing on patients with chronic conditions such as heart disease, diabetes, and dementia. The nurse will act as charge and perform duties including passing medications and wound care, following established protocols to ensure quality patient care.

Schedule: Day shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week

Required Qualifications
BLS certification
Minimum of 2 years of experience in long-term care
No clinical involvement required
Licensed to practice nursing
Preferred Qualifications
LTC experience preferred
Shift Notes
EOW (every other week), days, first to float
No blocked schedule, no self-scheduling
Additional Information
Unit notes indicate a 26-bed LTC setting with patient ratios of 1:10 during the day and 1:19 at night
Nurse acts as charge and performs medication passes and wound care
No IVs, titratable drips, or telemonitoring on this unit
Physician availability after hours by phone on-call
No rehab beds or specific team conferences required for this unit
On-site RT unavailable; equipment includes concentrators and portable concentrators
Pharmacy services are off-site, with medication dispensed externally
Uniform dress code: must be clean and presentable
