About the Role
Cross Country Nurses is seeking a Travel Nurse RN for a Long Term Care (LTC) position in Garrison, North Dakota. This role involves providing care for residents with conditions such as heart disease, diabetes, and dementia in a 26-bed long-term care facility. The position requires acting as charge nurse, administering medications, and performing wound care.

Requirements
- Active license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a nurse in a long-term care environment
- BLS Certification
- Adherence to a 50-mile radius; candidates may not be full-time, part-time, or PRN with associated facilities of the organization
Schedule
- 12-hour shifts, days
- 36 hours per week
- Every other week (EOW) schedule
- First to float during shifts
- No floating required beyond standard orientation of 2-3 shifts
Facility & Work Environment
- 26-bed long-term care facility
- Nurse-to-patient ratios: 1:10 on day shifts, 1:19 on night shifts
- Common diagnoses: Heart disease, diabetes, dementia
- Equipment: Concentrators and portable concentrators for oxygen therapy
- Off-site pharmacy
- Charting system: MatrixCare/MatrixBSN
- Interdisciplinary team includes PT, Social Worker designee, Pulmonary or Cardiac Rehab staff as needed
- No RT on-site 24/7; physician on-call after hours

Upfront requests of 7 days or less for time off are accepted for the initial contract, with no additional RTO approval afterward.
