Travel Nurse RN - Long Term Care (LTC) Long Term Care - $1,985 per week

About the role

Long Term Care (LTC) registered nurse position available in a post-acute care facility. The role involves providing nursing care to residents with various diagnoses, including dementia, COPD, Parkinson's, MS, and CHF. The position requires supervision of CNAs and TAs, along with medication pass, wound care, and other unit-specific duties during 12-hour day shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to residents with diagnoses including dementia, COPD, Parkinson's, MS, and CHF
• Supervise CNAs and TAs
• Perform medication pass, wound care, Foley care, and ostomy care
• Complete unit-specific duties during 12-hour day shifts

Required Qualifications

• Valid license to submit
• BLS certification
• Minimum of 1 year of experience
• Available to start on 09/21/2026

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with supervision of CNAs/TAs
• Nursing home experience
• Self-motivation

Schedule

• 12-hour day shifts
• Minimum of 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend and every other holiday required
• Duration: 13 weeks

Additional Information

• Unit ratios: 1 nurse to 2-3 CNAs and 20 residents during day/evening shifts; 40 residents during night shift
• No IVs or titratable drips involved
• RN's do not read strips
• Physician availability after hours provided
• Pharmacy on-site
• Charting system: Point Click Care (PCC)
• Scrub color/dress code provided
• Candidate may not have full-time, part-time, or PRN commitments with any facility associated with the specified organization within the past year
• RTO needs to be requested upfront; no additional RTO approvals afterward
• Up to 4 shifts can be canceled per 13-week assignment by the hospital
• Orientation shifts will be provided as needed
• Float: None required
