Travel Nurse RN - Long Term Care - $2,182 per week

Malone Healthcare - Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN Long Term Care for a travel nursing job in Wausau, Wisconsin.

Responsibilities

• Work in the vents, rehab, long-term care or dementia care units.
• Suction and know how to complete tube feedings and wound care in the vents unit.
• Maintain and update resident records.
• Assist with daily living activities as needed.
• Document patient care activities accurately and timely.
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and team meetings.
• Floated to all units, including long term care, rehab, dementia care, or if specifically assigned, the vents unit.

Requirements

• Active BLS certification.
• WI RN license at time of submission.
• At least 1-2 recent years of LTC / SN experience within the past 2 years.

Qualifications

• Current active RN license in Wisconsin.
• Experience in long-term care, rehabilitation, or dementia care.
• Experience with ventilator care and tracheostomy care.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Skills

• Excellent clinical judgment and decision-making skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of long-term care and rehabilitation protocols.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
