Travel Nurse RN - Long Term Care - $1,946 per week
About the role
LTC/SNF Facility in Iowa is in need of an RN traveler. RN must have 2 years experience working in LTC/SNF facilities, AHA BLS, IA or compact license, Pointclickcare, and charge experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care to patients in a long-term care setting.
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and policies.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Iowa or compact license.
- AHA BLS certification.
- Two years of experience in long-term care/skilled nursing facilities.
- Experience with PointClickCare preferred.
- Charge experience is a plus.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
- Pass a background check.
Skills
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of long-term care/skilled nursing facility protocols.
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR).
