Travel Nurse RN - Long Term Acute Care - $2,112 per week

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for a Long Term Acute Care assignment in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania. The 13‑week travel position starts 10/12/2026, requires 36 hours per week on 12‑hour shifts, and is with a Joint Commission‑certified staffing agency.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for 5‑6 patients
• Adjust and perform in a fast‑paced environment
• Keep up with many admissions and discharges
• Monitor and administer medications (orally, subcutaneously, and via IV)
• Educate patients and family on surgical processes and illness/injury management
• Monitor and adjust specialized equipment (vents, trachs, drips, EG tubes) and record/interpret electronic displays
• Interpret telemetry readings and notify the medical team of irregularities
• Perform all duties of a registered nurse
• Care for patients with pulmonary HTN, respiratory failure, COPD, CHF, and A‑Fib
• Use computer equipment to monitor cardiac and other vital information
• Start IVs, draw blood, and follow patients from admission to discharge

Requirements

• Active RN license
• Degree from an accredited nursing program
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Minimum 18 months recent experience in a Long Term Acute Care setting
• Experience with vents, trachs, drips, EG tubes and ability to read tele‑strips
• Additional requirements may be specified by the client facility
