Travel Nurse RN - Long Term Acute Care - $1,879 per week

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN for Long Term Acute Care in Memphis, Tennessee. Specialty: Long Term Acute Care; Discipline: RN; Duration: 13 weeks; Shift: 12 hours, days; Employment Type: Travel; 36 hours per week. The role is an immediate travel opening in an LTAC facility caring for patients with serious medical conditions requiring extended hospital-level care, including ventilator support, wound care, post-ICU recovery.

Responsibilities

• Perform head-to-toe assessments and respond promptly to changes in patient condition
• Administer IV medications, manage central lines, and monitor vital signs and lab results
• Provide ventilator and tracheostomy care, as well as advanced wound management
• Collaborate with respiratory therapists, physicians, and case managers for ongoing treatment plans
• Support patients with mobility, hygiene, and nutritional needs
• Supervise LPNs and CNAs, ensuring proper patient care delivery
• Adhere to strict infection control protocols and facility safety standards
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and communicate patient status updates
• Document all care activities and interventions accurately and in real time
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharge planning

Requirements

• At least one year of recent experience as an RN in a Long-Term Acute Care or similar high‑acuity setting
• Current BLS certification
• Eligibility for state licensure
• ACLS certification (required)
• Additional certifications may be required before beginning the assignment

Pay

Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
