Travel Nurse RN - Long Term Acute Care - $1,879 per week

About the role

We're looking for Registered Nurses (RNs) for an immediate travel opening in an LTAC (Long-Term Acute Care) facility in Jackson, TN. The right RN should have at least 1 year of recent experience in a Long-Term Acute Care or similar high acuity setting. Read below for more requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform head-to-toe assessments and respond promptly to changes in patient condition
• Administer IV medications, manage central lines, and monitor vital signs and lab results
• Provide ventilator and tracheostomy care, as well as advanced wound management
• Collaborate with respiratory therapists, physicians, and case managers for ongoing treatment plans
• Support patients with mobility, hygiene, and nutritional needs
• Supervise LPNs and CNAs, ensuring proper patient care delivery
• Adhere to strict infection control protocols and facility safety standards
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and communicate patient status updates
• Document all care activities and interventions accurately and in real time
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharge planning

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience as an RN in a Long-Term Acute Care setting
• Current BLS certification
• Eligible for State licensure
• ACLS (required before beginning assignment)
• Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment
