Role and Responsibilities
- Provide care and support to women before, during, and after delivery.
- Monitor vital signs of mothers and newborns during labor and delivery.
- Assess and manage high-risk situations.
- Educate and support families post-delivery.
Qualifications and Skills
- Active RN license and degree from an accredited nursing program.
- Recent experience (minimum 18 months) in an acute care labor and delivery setting.
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS, and AWHONN.
