About the role
Travel RN specializing in Labor and Delivery, providing essential maternity care in a healthcare facility.
Responsibilities
- Float to postpartum when needed
- Work charge with support from clinical resource nurse
- Cover 12-hour night shifts
- Handle a facility with 8 beds (including triage and ORs), ensuring quality patient care during assigned shifts
- Required to work every other weekend and holiday, with no call duties
- Ensure adherence to licensing requirements and maintain professional standards
- Provide labor and delivery nursing care
- Support postpartum patients
- Collaborate with staff
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during shifts
Qualifications
- MA RN license
- Relevant certifications (BLS, ACLS, NRP, fetal monitoring)
- Previous travel experience
Skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Flexibility to float
- Strong clinical skills in labor and delivery care
