About the role

Travel nursing position for a Labor and Delivery RN in Lufkin, Texas. The assignment is 6 weeks starting 11/02/2026, with 48 hours per week on 12-hour night shifts.

The unit handles 45 to 65 births per month, with higher volume in summer. Staffing includes 5 OB physicians and 1 CNM. C-sections are handled by the OR team (no circulating C-sections required). The role involves care for well babies, postpartum mothers, and labor and delivery patients.

Requirements

• RN license
• 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
• BLS Certification
• NRP Certification
