About the role
HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a 13-week assignment at Wichita, Kansas.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, caring, friendly, patient, and solutions-oriented patient care.
- Perform typical procedures such as C-sections, inductions, AROM, IUPC, DFM, and Doppler.
- Work in a unit with 26 beds and 112 staff members, including 11 nurses, 2-3 STs, and 2-3 unit clerks.
- Manage patient ratios of 1:1 for high-risk labor and c-sections, 1:2 for antepartum, PPROM, PTL on mag, PP on mag, and 1:3 for PP mag no baby, Outpatients.
- Utilize advanced equipment like Alaris pumps, PCA pumps, Monica Novii telemetry, and CPN(GE) monitor.
- Use EMR systems such as Meditech and CPN.
Requirements
- Minimum 1-year current acute care hospital L&D RN experience.
- BLS, ACLS, NRP, EFM-C, or AWHONN certification.
Qualifications
- Circulating C-sections and high-risk L&D experience preferred.
Skills
- Highly skilled in managing high-risk labor and c-sections.
- Experience with AROM, IUPC, DFM, and Doppler procedures.
