Travel Nurse RN - Labor and Delivery - $3,065 per week

About the role
Labor and Delivery registered nurse position in a hospital setting. This role involves providing comprehensive perinatal care, including prenatal evaluation, intrapartum and postpartum care, as well as care for both well and premature newborns. The assignment duration is approximately 15 weeks, with shifts scheduled during daytime hours.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive perinatal care, including prenatal evaluation, intrapartum and postpartum care
- Care for well and premature newborns
- Operate in a hospital setting with full scope perinatal care, including intraoperative care, postpartum, and special care for premature and newborn infants requiring higher-level support
Requirements
- Valid license as a registered nurse
- Current BLS (American Heart Association) certification
- Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
- EPIC electronic medical record training
- 3-5+ years of experience in Labor and Delivery
- Comfortable working in the operating room
- Ability to operate EPIC systems
- Must be separated from the organization for at least 6 months if previously employed or contracted here
- Flu vaccination required during onboarding; declinations are not accepted
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a maternal-newborn care setting
Schedule
- 12-hour daytime shifts with every other weekend rotation
- Total of at least 36 hours per week
- Biweekly orientation provided
