Malone Healthcare - Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Prestonsburg, Kentucky.

2+ years current experience in L&D in a level 1 acute setting
Must have experience in L&D, PP, and Nursery
Meditech EMR
Active Compact or State License in Hand required at time of submission – no exceptions
Required Certs: BLS, ACLS, NRP; Intermediate AWHONN Fetal monitoring
Must have KY or compact license
Resource must reside at least 75 miles from facility to be considered; locals not accepted
Must be willing to accept an 84 hours per two weeks schedule (one week 3x12, next week 4x12) – travelers who cannot accept this schedule will be cancelled
2 years of experience in specialty required to submit for consideration
RTO – ARH will consider up to 7 days of RTO. RTO must be presented up front, and no changes will be accepted
Must work either a major or minor of every holiday
Background Policy – must submit any license hits or background check issues up front
Extensions: after working one year, travelers must take a minimum 6 month break from the system prior to being eligible to return

Duration: 13 weeks
48 hours per week
Start Date: 08/31/2026
Orientation is bi-weekly
Start date on job is start date needed
Assignment confirmation needs to be signed within 24 hrs of an offer
All facilities work a schedule of 36/48 for the two weeks' pay period unless notated otherwise
Ratios can fluctuate with census, call in, etc.
Blocked scheduling cannot be accommodated
