Travel Nurse RN - Labor and Delivery - $2,987 per week

About the Role

Travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery position at Good Samaritan Hospital in San Jose, California. 13‑week assignment, 36 hours per week, 12‑hour shifts (days and nights). Travel employment type. The unit has 10 beds, approximately 120 staff members, and uses Meditech/CPN EMR. Staffing includes charge nurse, unit clerk, scrub tech, RNs, CNAs and sitters as needed, with patient ratios governed by CA Title 22. Weekends are rotated per the collective bargaining agreement.

Responsibilities

• Perform deliveries, cesarean sections, and other labor‑and‑delivery or related obstetric procedures.
• Provide patient care in accordance with CA Title 22 staffing ratios.
• Utilize Meditech/CPN electronic medical record for documentation.
• Collaborate with charge nurse, unit clerk, scrub tech, CNAs, and sitters as dictated by patient census.
• Adhere to unit dress code (scrub color/attire per guidelines) and participate in rotating weekend on‑call as required.

Requirements

• Minimum 4+ years of recent labor‑and‑delivery RN experience.
• Active California RN license.
• Current BLS certification.
• Resume must be submitted at application.
