About the unit

• Number of Beds: 26
• Number of Staff: 112
• Day Shift Staff: 1 CNC (TL), 14 nurses, 2–3 ST, 2 unit clerks
• Night Shift Staff: 1 CNC (TL), 12 nurses, 2 ST, 1 unit clerk
• Patient Ratios: 1:1 high risk labor c-sections; 1:2 antepartum, PPROM, PTL on mag, PP on mag; 1:3 PP mag no baby, outpatients
• Equipment: Alaris pumps, PCA pumps, Monica Novii telemetry, CPN (GE) monitor
• EMR: Meditech / CPN

Required qualifications

• Minimum 1 year current acute care hospital L&D RN experience
• BLS
• ACLS
• NRP
• EFM-C or AWHONN

Preferred qualifications

• Circulating C-sections experience
• High risk LDR experience

Procedures performed on unit

• C-sections
• Inductions
• AROM
• IUPC
• DFM and Doppler
