Job Description & Requirements

Fusion Medical Staffing is recruiting a Labor and Delivery RN for a 13-week assignment in Columbus, Ohio. The position offers 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts, and starts on August 10, 2026.

• One year's recent experience as a Labor and Delivery RN
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) Certification

Required Qualifications

• AWHONN Fetal Monitoring Certification
• STABLE and ACLS Certifications (AHA / ARC)

Preferred Qualifications

Essential Work Functions

• Communicate labor and delivery procedures to patients and families
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments
• Prepare equipment and aid physician during labor, delivery, and examination of patients
• Provide immediate postpartum care
• Collaborate with healthcare teams
• Respond to obstetric emergencies
• Document patient care, assessments, and interventions accurately
• Perform fetal monitoring and interpret results
• Absorb and assist with procedures and/or using department equipment
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives

Physical Abilities

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position
• Move about, move equipment (50-100lbs), push, pull, and bend
