Responsibilities

• Comprehensive patient assessment
• Pre-operative and post-operative nursing care
• Surgical patient preparation and education
• Clinical documentation
• Emergency response
• Patient safety practices
• Critical thinking and clinical judgment
• Strong communication and teamwork
• Care for diverse patient populations (Pediatric to Geriatric)

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) License required
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required

Qualifications

• Associate Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred
• Previous perioperative, Pre-Admission Testing (PAT), surgical, or acute care nursing experience preferred
