Job Description & Requirements
Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Labor and Delivery RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Key West, Florida. The position offers 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts, and starts on August 3, 2026.
- One year's recent experience as a Labor and Delivery RN
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) Certification
Required Qualifications
- AWHONN Fetal Monitoring Certification
- STABLE and ACLS Certifications (AHA / ARC)

Essential Work Functions
- Communicate labor and delivery procedures to patients and families
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments
- Prepare equipment and aid physician during labor, delivery, and examination of patients
- Provide immediate postpartum care
- Educate patients and families on postpartum recovery, breastfeeding, and newborn care
- Collaborate with healthcare teams
- Respond to obstetric emergencies
- Document patient care, assessments, and interventions
- Perform fetal monitoring and interpret results
- Absorb and assist with procedures and/or using department equipment
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
