Travel Nurse RN - Labor and Delivery - $2,905 per week

Travel LDRP RN position in Bismarck, North Dakota. Join a department with high patient satisfaction, caring for patients through labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum. First-time travelers welcome.

Schedule & contract details

• Start date: 11/16/2026
• Duration: 26 weeks
• 36 hours per week
• Shift: 12 hours, days
• Employment type: Travel
• Orientation: Two 12-hour unit shifts
• No required call; optional overtime opportunities
• Manager will work with block scheduling

Unit details

• Charting system: Epic
• Unit composition: 7 L&D beds, 12 postpartum beds, dedicated C-section OR
• Ratios: L&D 1:1–2; postpartum 1:2–3 couplets
• Surgical scrubs provided

Requirements

• 3+ years of LDRP experience required
• Active RN license at submission
• BLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring, and STABLE certifications
• Ability to titrate Pitocin, magnesium, and occasional insulin drips
• Comfortable caring for antepartum, labor, postpartum, and surgical patients
• Advanced fetal monitoring and scrubbing experience preferred
• BSN not required

Floating policy

• Travelers are first to float
• Assignments may include pediatric med/surg or NICU feeder-growers
• Sitter/helping-hands support provided on other units

Application requirements

• Must meet the 50-mile radius rule
• Cannot currently be full-time, part-time, or PRN staff at any CommonSpirit facility, including CHI or Dignity
• All requested time off must be submitted upfront: maximum 7 days per 13-week contract; additional requests will not be approved
• Selection includes profile review and a manager interview
