About the role
Seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a 13-week assignment in Charles City, Iowa.
Responsibilities
- Provide care for patients during labor and delivery
- Work 36 hours per week on a 12-hour, night shift schedule
- Follow a block schedule of 6 days on, 8 days off, every other weekend
- Work in a hospital setting specializing in Labor & Delivery
Requirements
- Active RN license from IA or a compact state
- Recent Labor & Delivery experience
- BLS, ACLS, NRP, and other facility-required certifications
- Ability to work 12-hour overnight shifts
- Strong clinical, critical thinking, and communication skills
- Previous travel nursing experience preferred
- Experience with EMR systems
- Reliable, adaptable, and comfortable in a fast-paced hospital environment
