Travel Nurse RN - Labor and Delivery - $2,875 per week

About the Role

Labor and Delivery (L&D) Registered Nurse (RN) position in Spokane, Washington. This role involves providing high-risk obstetric care within a Level II Trauma Center that handles approximately 300 deliveries annually. The RN will support patient care across various obstetric units, including antepartum, labor and delivery, and postpartum, ensuring safe and effective care for mother and newborns.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-risk obstetric care within a Level II Trauma Center
• Support patient care across antepartum, labor and delivery, and postpartum units
• Manage high-risk conditions such as pre-eclampsia, diabetes, and multiple gestations
• Perform sterile vaginal exams, fetal monitoring, and assist with deliveries
• Participate in patient education, emergency response, and postpartum care
• Care for neonatal and obstetric patients
• Facilitate procedures using intrauterine pressure catheters and central lines (CVC/PICC) as needed
• Float rotation may be required between units and sister facilities

Required Qualifications

• Valid Washington or Compact RN license
• ACLS, BLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate certification
• 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery
• Experience with high-risk obstetric care

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with high-risk antepartum care
• Experience with intrauterine pressure catheters
• Experience with central lines (CVC/PICC)
• Experience with maternal emergencies

Schedule

• Night shifts, 12 hours per shift
• Minimum 36 hours per week
• Duration: 26 weeks
