Job Details Location: Goryeb area Shift Time: Days Shift Hours: 12 hours Minimum Hours Per Week: 36 hours Certifications, Education Requirements, or Degrees: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing, Associates or Bachelor's Degree preferred, RN License required. Schedule: Day shift, 12 hours, 36 hours per week Required Qualifications: Assessment skills, clinical skills, emergency equipment and procedures, documentation guidelines, policies and procedures, national patient safety goals, universal protocol, safe transfer techniques, proper body mechanics, pre-admission testing, RN License. Additional Information: Supports the completion of patient testing in a timely manner. Evaluates pre-admission testing orders for appropriateness based on proposed surgery, patient age, and current health status. Demonstrates knowledge of conditions, diagnoses, procedures, and equipment encountered for surgical patients. Contributes to the perioperative team by assuming responsibility and accountability for directing patient care by prioritizing care depending on needs and condition changes. Performs pre-operative and post-operative assessments and education, including evaluating patient understanding of procedures and instructions, and actively involving family members in teaching. Supports patient education and chart completion, including assessments of surgical procedures/instructions.
