Travel Nurse RN - Labor and Delivery - $2,665 per week

Job Summary

The organization is seeking a Labor and Delivery (L&D) nurse for a position located in Perham, Minnesota. This role involves working in a postpartum and labor/delivery unit, providing care across a 36-hour weekly schedule with rotating day and night shifts. The candidate will be responsible for caring for patients in a hospital setting, with opportunities to float to medical-surgical units when necessary. The position requires compliance with facility-specific notes, including adherence to float policies and shift rotations every three weeks, including weekend coverage.

Job Details

• Schedule: 12-hour day/night rotating shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week, including every third weekend.

Required Qualifications

• Active licensure, willing to wait for license submission, and minimum of 0 years of experience in Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, or similar units.

Certifications Required

• AHA ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)

Float

• Float rotation may be required to medical-surgical units when OB services are closed.

Additional Information

• The position involves working in an acute care setting with a typically small unit consisting of 4 beds, including 1:1 care for Labor patients and 1:3 couplets postpartum/nursery.
• The facility utilizes Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems such as EPIC, Pyxis, and OBIX.
• The unit typically cares for 4 beds, with 1:1 for Labor, and 1:3 for postpartum/couplets.
• The shifts are fixed for 36 hours weekly, rotating every three weeks, with no call requirements.
• Cancellation policy allows the client to cancel up to 12 hours prior every 13 weeks.

Pay Package

The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
