Travel Nurse RN - Labor and Delivery - $2,652 per week
About the Role
HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel nurse RN for Labor and Delivery in Austin, Texas. This is a 13-week travel assignment with 36 hours per week on 12-hour night shifts, including rotating weekends. No call requirements are needed.
Requirements
- BLS, ACLS, NRP, STABLE, and intermediate fetal monitoring certifications
- Competency in EFM, ACLS, BLS, NRP, sterile vaginal exams (SVE), and C-Section circulation
- 2+ years of nursing experience in Labor and Delivery
- Proficiency with equipment: Novii, JADA, Fetal Pillow, IUPC, FSE, Toco, US
- Experience with Meditech EMR
Preferred Qualifications
- Internal monitor placement competency
- Previous HCA assignment or employment
- Experience in a Level IV (high-volume) unit
Responsibilities
Typical procedures performed on the unit include:
- Spontaneous vaginal deliveries (SVD)
- Cerclages
- C-Sections
- Trial of labor after cesarean (TOLAC)
