About the role

Travel Nurse RN – Labor and Delivery (13‑week assignment, 36 hours/week, 12‑hour night shifts) in Salem, Virginia.

Qualifications

Labor and delivery experience
Strip interpretation
Knowledge of common OB medications
Circulator experience in C‑section
PACU recovery experience for spinal anesthesia
Antepartum triage
Knowledge of common complications and treatments for obstetrical complaints
Assist with epidural placement
Teamwork approach to patient care
IV insertion, lab draws, JADA and BAKRI knowledge, blood administration, nitrous administration
Experience with vaginal exams and setting up delivery tables for vaginal deliveries

Schedule

Duration: 13 weeks

Hours: 36 hours per week

Shift: 12‑hour nights
