Job Details

Required Qualifications
- Licensure valid for submission
- Certifications including Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
- Minimum 3 years of labor and delivery experience
Additional Information
- Experience with obstetrics, post-partum, antepartum, post-surgical GYN, and pregnancies complicated by hypertension or diabetes
- RNs required to titrate drips such as Pitocin, Mag, and Procardia
- Typical patient ratio adheres to AWHONN guidelines: 1:3 or 1:1 for laboring patients
- Unit is designated Blue Distinction+ for patient care and high patient satisfaction scores
- Floating is rare and only for critical staffing needs to sit or perform tasks
- One week of classroom orientation followed by 2-3 shifts on the floor
- RTO (Request for Time Off) required upfront, with 7 or fewer days approved for a 13-week contract; no additional RTO requests allowed after submission
- Candidate must possess a drivers license, which will be used to verify mileage restrictions (candidate must reside within 50 miles and not be part-time or PRN with facilities associated with the organization)

Pay Package
The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
