About the role
Labor and Delivery (L&D) registered nurse position located in a healthcare facility in Madison, Wisconsin. This role involves providing specialized care to patients in the labor and delivery department, contributing to a multidisciplinary team. The assignment offers a dynamic clinical environment requiring flexibility and a focus on maternal and neonatal health.
Schedule
- Night shifts, 12 hours per shift
- Minimum of 36 hours per week
Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care in the labor and delivery department
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team
Requirements
- Certifications: BLS (AHA) and NRP
- Valid Wisconsin state nursing license
- At least 2 years of previous nursing experience
- Work history/resume required
- Skills checklist completed within the past year
- Driver’s license required
- Copy of certifications required
- One supervisory reference required at time of submission
- Taxable address outside of 50 miles from the facility
- Experience in a Level 3 trauma center preferred
- Exposure to maternal and neonatal procedures
