About the role
This position involves providing specialized nursing care within a small 10-bed labor, delivery, and postpartum unit with an attached Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. The role focuses on delivering high-quality, patient-centered care, collaborating with the care team, and supporting patients and their families through various stages of childbirth and postpartum recovery.
Schedule
- Rotating shifts of 12 hours, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
- Shifts: 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM and 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
- Every third weekend required
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered nursing care in labor, delivery, and postpartum settings
- Collaborate with the care team to support patients and families through childbirth and recovery
- Participate in patient education and quality improvement efforts
- Engage in relationship-based care and cultural competency practices
Requirements
- RN license in Pennsylvania or a compact state license
- BSN preferred
- Two years of nursing experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience as a labor and delivery nurse
- Proficiency in electronic fetal monitoring
- Familiarity with maternal and neonatal processes

Pay
Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
