About the role

Labor and Delivery (L&D) nurse opportunity in Spokane, Washington. This position involves providing specialized care during labor and delivery processes, with a focus on high-risk obstetrics; candidates will support maternal and neonatal health in a busy, Level II Trauma Center with a robust patient census.

Schedule

• 12-hour night shifts
• Minimum of 36 hours per week

Responsibilities

• Manage patients with complex obstetric conditions such as pre-eclampsia, diabetes, multiple gestation, VBAC/TOLAC, and maternal emergencies
• Assist with sterile speculum exams, vaginal deliveries, C-section procedures, neonatal resuscitation, and maternal assessments
• Float rotation may be required between units

Requirements

• Valid state license
• At least 1 year of experience in Labor and Delivery
• Certifications: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), AWHONN Intermediate, Basic Life Support (BLS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
• Experience with high-risk obstetric procedures and certifications in maternal fetal health preferred

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with high-risk pregnancies
• Active management of laboring patients
• Familiarity with Epic charting system
