Travel Nurse RN - Labor and Delivery - $2,370 per week

Job Summary

The Maternal Child Health Registered Nurse (RN) is located in a healthcare facility within New Mexico. This position involves providing comprehensive nursing care to maternal, labor and delivery, neonatal, and gynecology patients. The RN will function as a primary caregiver and may be floated to other hospital units as needed, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care aligned with established standards and protocols.

Responsibilities

• Care for Maternal Child Health patients, including labor and delivery, mother-baby, newborn nursery, level II nursery, and gynecology patients.
• Assess patient data, implement care plans, and collaborate with the healthcare team.
• Float to other hospital areas as required, with adherence to departmental guidance and standards.

Schedule

• Days shift, 12 hours per day, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Weekends required every third weekend.

Required Qualifications

• Valid licensure for New Mexico or multiple-state licensure.
• Basic Life Support (AHA).
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (AHA).
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP).
• AWHONN Fetal Monitoring certification required upon hire.

Preferred Qualifications

• STABLE certification.
• Baby Friendly experience.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program certification.
• Experience with Baby Friendly practices.
