Travel Nurse RN - Labor and Delivery - $2,364 per week

Job Description & Requirements

Fusion Medical Staffing is recruiting a Labor and Delivery RN for a 13-week assignment in Helena, Montana starting August 2, 2026. The shift is 36 hours per week, 12-hour days.

• 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts
• Start date: August 2, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

• One year recent experience as a Labor and Delivery RN
• RN license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) Certification

Preferred Qualifications

• AWHONN Fetal Monitoring Certification
• STABLE and ACLS Certifications (AHA / ARC)

Essential Work Functions

• Communicate labor and delivery procedures to patients and families
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments
• Prepare equipment and aid physician during labor, delivery, and examination
• Provide immediate postpartum care
• Collaborate with healthcare teams
• Respond to obstetric emergencies
• Document patient care accurately
• Perform fetal monitoring and interpret results
• Absorb and assist with procedures
• Comply with regulatory standards

Required Essential Skills

• Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills
• The ability to read/write in English
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions, follow verbal instructions, and use computers
• Physical abilities: remain in a stationary position, move about, move equipment (50-100 lbs), push, pull, and bend
• Interpersonal skills: work effectively with a variety of personnel
• Mental requirements: cope with frequent contact with the general public and customers, work under close supervision, work without assistance, work under continuous concentration to detail, and deal with irregular activity schedules
• Sensory: possess visual acuity and ability to effectively communicate
