About the Role
HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel nurse RN for the Labor and Delivery unit at Centennial Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee. This role supports a 12-bed unit with a patient ratio of 1:2, staffed by RNs, unit secretaries, and OR techs.
Unit Specifics
- Number of Beds: 12
- Patient Ratios: 1:2
- Unit Staffing: RNs, unit secretary, OR techs
- Documentation System: CPN, Meditech
- Scheduling Requirements: 3 weekend shifts, 1 call shift for RNs, 2 call shifts for techs, 3 x 12-hour shifts
- Floating Policy: Travelers float first
- Patient Experience: Shared decision-making model
- Dress Code: Ceil blue, navy blue, or gray scrubs (not provided by hospital)
Responsibilities
- Care for laboring patients and newborns immediately after delivery
- Circulate and recover C-section patients
- Perform procedures including vaginal deliveries, C-sections, D&C, cerclage, epidural anesthesia, and tub labor
Requirements
- 2+ years of Labor and Delivery experience
- Certifications: AWHONN Intermediate (not advanced) or CEFM, ACLS, BLS, NRP
- OR techs must have FA certification
