Travel Nurse RN - Labor and Delivery - $2,343 per week

Job Description

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Roseburg, Oregon. The position offers 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts, and starts immediately.

Requirements

• One year’s recent experience as a Labor and Delivery RN
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) Certification

Qualifications

• AWHONN Fetal Monitoring Certification
• STABLE and ACLS Certifications (AHA / ARC)

Essential Work Functions

• Communicate labor and delivery procedures to patients and families
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments
• Prepare equipment and aid physician during labor, delivery, and examination of patients
• Provide immediate postpartum care
• Collaborate with healthcare teams
• Respond to obstetric emergencies
• Document patient care accurately
• Perform fetal monitoring and interpret results
• Absorb and assist with procedures
• Comply with regulatory standards

Required Essential Skills

• Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills
• The ability to read/write in the English language
• Ability to read/write and communicate verbally
• Read/write and comprehend written instructions
• Proficiency in PC skills

Physical Abilities

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position
• Move about, move equipment (50-100lbs), push, pull, and bend

Interpersonal Skills

• Must be able to work effectively with a variety of personnel
• Must be able to work under close supervision occasionally
• Must be able to work without assistance from other personnel
• Must be able to cope with irregular activity schedules occasionally
• Must be able to concentrate continuously to detail

Sensory Requirements

• Must possess visual acuity
• Must be able to effectively communicate
