About the role
NuWest Travel Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a 36-hour per week, 12-hour shift, night position in Carlsbad, New Mexico.
Responsibilities
- Provide care for patients during labor and delivery
- Assist physicians during deliveries
- Monitor patient health and vital signs
- Administer medications and treatments as necessary
- Document patient care and progress
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of New Mexico
- Current BLS certification
Qualifications
- Experience in labor and delivery preferred
- Knowledge of postpartum care
- Strong communication skills
