About the role
HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a 13-week assignment in Salem, Virginia.
Responsibilities
- Provide care for patients in the Labor and Delivery unit.
- Work 36 hours per week, rotating 12-hour shifts, nights only.
- Assist with patient ratios of 3 couplets/1 nurse; L&D = 1:1 active labor/Pitocin/epidural.
- Utilize equipment such as Corometrics and EMR systems including Centricity Perinatal and Meditech.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN).
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Virginia.
- Experience in Labor and Delivery preferred.
- Knowledge of Obstetric procedures and protocols.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
Qualifications
- Passing scores on the NCLEX-RN.
- Current BLS certification from an American Heart Association-approved provider.
