About the role
Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery travel assignment in Florence, AL. Provide expert care to mothers and newborns during labor and delivery in a welcoming, patient-focused environment. Assess patients, monitor fetal heart rates, assist with deliveries, and support families through childbirth and postpartum care.
Responsibilities

- Utilize electronic medical record (EMR) systems
Requirements
- Current Alabama RN license (Compact accepted)
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required)
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification (often expected)
- ACLS and Fetal Heart Monitoring (CERT-FHM) certifications
- Experience in labor and delivery or acute care (recommended)
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills
